Customer Care Associate I (USABlueBook) - Atlanta

About the role

USABlueBook, a division of HD Supply, is the source of products and technical support for professional water and wastewater operators. It is hiring a Customer Care Associate I in Atlanta, Georgia, to provide customer service by answering inquiries about product selection, services and issues. The associate must know 20,000 products and 3 catalogues.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer order and quotation requests by telephone, e-mail, letter and fax within department service goals.
• Follow up on orders to make sure customer service expectations are met.
• Research and suggest alternative products, representing products and increasing sales where appropriate.
• Use the computerized system for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting.
• Resolve customer issues, including issuing credit concessions, and refer complex, non-standard problems to the supervisor.

Required profile

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• High-volume call-center experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a background and drug test.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Schedule: 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday, weekends off.
• Pay: $17.50-$18 per hour.
