About the role
MetLife’s Global Customer Service and Operations team is seeking Customer Care Advocates to join its inbound contact centre. Starting with paid training on August 3 2026, you will work from a home office while periodically visiting the assigned GCSO office for team events, meetings and business‑continuity activities.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide solutions that reflect MetLife’s commitment to trust and empathy.
- Adhere to scheduled start and end times, working shifts between 7 AM and 10 PM Central Time, Monday‑Friday, with flexibility for overtime as business needs evolve.
- Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators and quality standards.
- Participate in required office visits for training, monthly events and team meetings.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer and keyboard proficiency, able to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated empathy, active listening and problem‑solving skills.
- Attention to detail, effective time management and multitasking capability.
- Residence within a commutable distance to the designated site.
