About the role
Royal Caribbean International is seeking enthusiastic Cruise Staff to serve as the Master of Ceremonies on board its ships. You will host and participate in a variety of recreational, entertainment and social programs designed for adults and families, creating memorable experiences throughout the cruise.
Key responsibilities
- Host and lead shipboard recreational, entertainment and social activities.
- Act as Master of Ceremonies, motivating, informing and entertaining both small and large guest groups.
- Deliver special talent or skill classes when applicable.
- Provide clear instructions and manage audience attention using effective microphone techniques.
- Maintain high standards of guest service in line with Royal Caribbean’s “The Royal Way”.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in theater, performance or dance is preferred.
- Minimum two years experience as a Master of Ceremonies or professional entertainer in resorts, cruise lines or similar venues.
- Ability to engage large audiences and deliver basic instruction.
- Customer‑service mindset with discretion to satisfy guest needs.
Required skills
- Microphone operation and effective vocal projection.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate standard software packages.
