Food Service Worker – Trayline (Full‑Time)

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Food Service Worker to join its Trayline team. You will prepare and deliver patient meals in a safe, sanitary environment while providing courteous service to patients, families, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patient meals according to menu specifications and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces, including dishroom and equipment.
• Perform patient room service, tray line duties, and deliver courtesy trays.
• Portion food accurately and follow established food safety procedures.
• Break down and clean equipment using proper protocols.
• Adhere to University policies, CICARE and ACT standards, and safeguard assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of relevant food‑service experience.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Commitment to the University’s core values and patient‑centered care.
