About the role
Patriot Private Security, a veteran‑run business in Stockton, is seeking dedicated crossing guards to provide standing guard services. The position involves monitoring pedestrian crossings and ensuring safety for the community.
Key responsibilities
- Stand guard at designated crossing points for 8‑hour shifts.
- Monitor traffic and pedestrian flow, reporting any incidents.
- Maintain communication with team members and supervisors.
Required profile
- Valid B.S.I.S. guard card and current permits.
- Clean driving record and criminal background.
- Reliable transportation and a smartphone with active email.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift 50 lb or more.
Required skills
- Effective verbal communication.
- Basic report writing and typing.
What we offer
- Hourly pay of $16–$18.
- Flexible full‑time and part‑time schedules, including nights and weekends.
