Crisis Interventionist – Mobile Crisis Team

About the role

The Crisis Interventionist joins Cascade Community Healthcare's Mobile Crisis Team to provide face‑to‑face and phone crisis intervention, stabilization and resolution for individuals experiencing acute mental health distress.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and telephone crisis intervention, stabilization, and resolution services for individuals or families in acute emotional distress.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources, DCR, and facilitate voluntary or involuntary hospitalization as needed.
• Maintain communication with follow‑up teams, law enforcement, schools, and other collateral agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of education or experience in mental health or a related field.
• Washington State Department of Health credential (Registered‑AAC or Certified AAC) and ability to pass state background checks.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and ability to operate a vehicle in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in entering information into computer network systems.
