Credit Risk Review Director

About the role

The Executive Director of Credit Risk Review leads the development and execution of the annual risk‑based internal credit review plan, providing independent assurance of the bank’s credit governance, risk management and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and supervise the annual risk‑based review plan, including auditable entity risk assessments.
• Manage a team of senior credit professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Lead review scheduling, resource allocation, and oversight of all credit risk engagements.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and risk committees.
• Mentor and coach staff, conduct performance appraisals, and drive professional development.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and provide accurate credit quality information for reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 12‑15 years of credit underwriting and administration experience across multiple loan types.
• 12‑15 years of internal credit risk review experience, including senior management responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
