Credit Analyst III – Equipment Finance

About the role

The Credit Analyst III – Equipment Finance supports commercial lending and portfolio management by performing financial statement spreading, underwriting, and credit analysis. The role focuses on new money requests, annual reviews, renewals, and modifications for higher‑exposure or complex credits.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality credit analyses, memos, and recommendations for new loans, renewals, and modifications.
• Analyze financial statements, industry risk, loan structure, and market conditions to assess borrower creditworthiness.
• Utilize financial spreading software and other tools to evaluate cash flow and repayment sources.
• Conduct underwriting, identify credit risks, and calculate collateral coverage.
• Participate in Opportunity Memo calls and present findings to the credit approval team.
• Maintain data integrity in underwriting platforms and ensure compliance with banking regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of commercial lending or credit administration experience, specifically in equipment finance.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and decision‑making.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial spreading software.
• Strong spreadsheet and word‑processing skills.
• Experience using risk rating models for credit assessment.
