Craft Recruiter – Merit Shop

About the role

The Craft Recruiter will support the Louisiana LNG project by managing the recruitment, screening, and onboarding of a manual craft workforce. This full‑time position works on‑site in Lake Charles, LA, ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process for the project’s merit‑shop requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, screening, and processing of manual craft professionals as needed.
• Prepare and submit documentation for government, labor, immigration, and client project requirements.
• Conduct work‑authorization checks (I‑9), employment verifications, background submissions, and pre‑employment processing.
• Maintain and update employee records in the Craft HRIS system and physical files.
• Compile and submit employee information for accreditation, audits, or other administrative purposes.

Required profile

• University graduate with 1‑2 years of experience or 5‑6 years of relevant work experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems.
