Course Support Instructor (TS/SCI)

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Course Support 1 instructor to deliver instructor-led, Government-approved classroom and lab instruction for classified courses. The work covers lectures, demonstrations and hands-on labs, with a schedule of 0700-1800 M-F and core hours of 1000-1400. The position requires a TS/SCI security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and lab instruction while maintaining course pace, learning objectives and professional standards.
• Support students during labs and exercises without disclosing test content or assessment answers.
• Prepare and close out courses using Government-approved checklists and runbooks, and document completion.
• Troubleshoot common student issues within instructor permissions and escalate LMS, platform and infrastructure problems to the appropriate technical roles.
• Review grading outputs for anomalies and report suspected defects or unclear rubrics.
• Comply with exam and assessment handling requirements and report suspected compromise or irregularities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree and 4 years, or high school diploma and 6 years.
• At least 6 months of FORGE/HAMR (CYBR4600) teaching experience in the last 2 years, or recent T50 Exploiter Trainer certification with 5 years of IO or EA experience.
• TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Preferred: experience delivering technical instruction and handling assessments per SOP.

Required skills

• Virtual host and network configuration in a VM manager (e.g., VMware vSphere/vCenter).
• Scenario development and interactive virtual learning modules (vSphere, vCenter, Moodle, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate).
• Administration of Unix, Unix variant and Windows servers.
• Knowledge of Python, Ruby and shell scripting preferred.
