Course Support Instructor (TS/SCI)

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Course Support 1 instructor to deliver instructor-led, Government-approved classroom and lab instruction for classified courses. The work covers lectures, demonstrations and hands-on labs, with a schedule of 0700-1800 M-F and core hours of 1000-1400. The position requires a TS/SCI security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and lab instruction while keeping pace, learning objectives and professional standards
• Support students during labs without disclosing test content or assessment answers
• Run course preparation and closeout activities using Government-approved checklists and runbooks
• Troubleshoot common student issues within instructor permissions and escalate LMS, platform and infrastructure problems
• Review grading outputs for anomalies and comply with exam handling and need-to-know controls
• Contribute observations, issue logs and improvement recommendations to the Statement of Work deliverables

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree and 4 years, or high school diploma and 6 years
• TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Preferred: 6 months of FORGE/HAMR (CYBR4600) teaching experience in the last 2 years, or recent T50 Exploiter Trainer certification with 5 years of IO or EA experience
• Preferred: experience delivering technical instruction and handling exams per SOP

Required skills

• Virtual host and network configuration in a VM manager (VMware vSphere/vCenter)
• Scenario development and virtual learning modules (vSphere, vCenter, Moodle, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate)
• 2 years of experience developing, testing, deploying or maintaining electrical/electronic/software systems for CNEM
• Unix, Unix variant and Windows server administration
• Programming languages such as Python, Ruby and shell scripting
