Course Facilitator I

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Course Facilitator I to support the student learning experience for a virtual course. The facilitator answers student questions, validates automated grading and feedback, and provides facilitator-owned inputs to course deliverables as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The role reports on learner experience and course workflow support, not on roster or attendance.

Courses run 0800-1700 Monday to Friday, with contract core hours of 1000-1400. A TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Review automated graded activities quickly and validate grading and feedback outputs for correctness and completeness, documenting reproducible evidence of anomalies.
• Provide first-line student support for virtual learning (navigation, content access, submission workflow) and escalate platform defects with diagnostic detail (steps to reproduce, timestamps, screenshots/logs).
• Support government-directed student progress monitoring by compiling and validating metrics such as pacing indicators, completion status and at-risk flags.
• Maintain issue logs for recurring student issues and grading anomalies in approved tracking tools.
• Provide input to the Content Development and Instructional Design teams and assist in preparing course deliverable inputs per the SOW.
• Guide students on general networking systems, operating systems and technical writing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, information technology, education/instructional technology, engineering or a related field, plus two years of relevant experience; or an associate's degree (or 18 semester hours of military coursework/training) plus six years of relevant experience.
• At least six months of FORGE/HAMR teaching experience in the last two years, or experience as a certified T50 Exploiter Trainer with IO or EA experience.
• Preferred: experience reviewing grading outputs, documenting issues with reproducible detail, using an LMS at user level, compiling reporting inputs, protecting sensitive assessment information, and familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia and common programming languages.

• Pay range of $160,000 - $210,000.
