Course Coordinator

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Course Coordinator in San Antonio, TX, to provide front-line, non-technical support for web-based and instructor-led training courses. The role supports a multidisciplinary team delivering technical, hands-on training to meet customers' mission and time-critical needs. Core hours are 10:00-14:00, with courses active 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Assist students with administrative questions and act as a liaison between students, staff and the customer
• Proctor high-stakes exams and monitor them to ensure exam and student integrity
• Create daily, weekly, monthly, end-of-course and on-the-spot reports for the customer
• Track and analyze student progress and data, and maintain course documentation
• Provide feedback on course content, exercises, exams and resources
• Roster students to new courses and set up their access
• Work overtime during critical peaks and last-minute requests; limited telework may be possible

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in education, English, communications, a technical discipline or a related field, plus 2 years of relevant experience; alternatively 6 years of experience instead of the degree
• 2 years of experience in training analysis, design, delivery or evaluation, or 3 years in administrative support; military experience desired
• Experience with Confluence and Jira desired
• Excellent communication, reading comprehension and writing skills, organized and able to work under pressure
• Drug-free workplace; drug screening required as a federal contractor
