Cosmetology Professional Lab Assistant (Part-Time)

About the role

The Cosmetology Professional Lab Assistant supports instructors and students in a hands‑on classroom environment that mirrors real‑world cosmetology businesses. This part‑time role is based at North Georgia Technical College in Clarkesville.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instruction in both theory and practical applications of cosmetology.
• Organize and maintain laboratory materials and equipment.
• Monitor student adherence to safety and sanitation practices.
• Demonstrate up‑to‑date knowledge of cosmetology techniques and industry standards.
• Assist lead instructors with classroom duties and student assessments.
• Maintain accurate classroom records and evaluate student performance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Cosmetology.
• Current Georgia Master Cosmetologist license.
• At least three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: Georgia Master Cosmetologist Teaching license.
