Corrective Technician (Stormwater Repair)

About the role

Join Dragonfly Pond Works as a Corrective Technician on the Stormwater Repair Crew. You will work outdoors in Altamonte Springs, maintaining and repairing ponds, lakes, and stormwater control structures while contributing to a fast‑growing environmental services company.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment safely, including mini‑excavators, skid steers, slope mowers, front‑end loaders and backhoes.
• Perform manual labor tasks and use hand tools for pond, lake and stormwater repairs.
• Grade, repair erosion, plant, mow, and remove invasive species to restore stormwater control measures.
• Lead by example to ensure a safe, productive work environment and participate in safety meetings.
• Complete site stabilization tasks such as tree removal, excavation, and turf establishment.

Required profile

• Experience in pond/lake maintenance, landscaping, erosion control, or stormwater maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lb and work in varied weather conditions.
• Comfort with water, slopes, and environmental hazards (bees, poison ivy, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Commitment to safety practices and adherence to company policies and values.
