Corporate Staff Accountant – Restaurant Group

About the role

Corner Table Restaurants is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant to support its growing portfolio of restaurant locations. You will work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and year‑end accounting close processes.
• Prepare journal entries for prepaid expenses and accruals.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit‑card transaction reviews for all restaurant sites.
• Maintain detailed reconciliation of balance‑sheet accounts.
• Audit general‑ledger coding accuracy in partnership with operations.
• Support quarterly and annual third‑party CPA reviews.
• Supervise assigned accounting staff members.
• Maintain organized audit trails and accurate accounting files.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or similar fast‑growth environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work proactively and efficiently in a fluid growth setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and V‑lookups.
