Corporate Finance Analyst / Associate / Senior Associate

About the role

The Corporate Finance Analyst/Associate/Senior Associate will serve as the primary underwriter for complex large corporate and middle‑market relationships at Northwest Bank. The role requires independent, in‑depth qualitative and quantitative analysis of clients, industries, and macroeconomic trends.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed credit memoranda for complex lending relationships.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of client financial statements and recommend appropriate loan structures, including covenant formulas.
• Identify credit strengths, weaknesses, risks and mitigating factors, and determine underwriting scope.
• Participate in joint calls with Relationship Managers and maintain ongoing risk monitoring of the portfolio.
• Prepare annual or quarterly portfolio reviews and defend risk ratings.
• Review and negotiate legal documentation with external counsel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field (preferred).
• 5–6 years of credit underwriting experience in corporate finance.
• Ability to develop financial statement forecasts and enterprise valuations.
