Corporate Director of Sales

About the role

Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions is seeking a Corporate Director of Sales to lead and execute sales strategies across its portfolio of Hyatt and IHG-branded hotels. The role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer / Vice President of Sales, is full-time and exempt, and is fully on-site with no hybrid or remote option. It focuses on driving top-line revenue, building key client relationships and aligning with brand and corporate goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue across all branded hotels, working with revenue and marketing teams on campaigns and promotions for corporate and group business.
• Oversee key account development, RFP processes and sales training, and run regular sales calls, pipeline reviews and strategic planning sessions with hotel sales teams.
• Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies and business partners, and hold client meetings, presentations and negotiations.
• Generate hotel awareness through FAM trips, site inspections and by hosting travel advisors and corporate travel managers.
• Act as main liaison with brand teams, attend trade shows and brand showcases, and evaluate the ROI of each event.
• Use brand and internal systems to track sales performance and market trends, and report KPIs and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 7-10+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, including corporate or multi-property oversight.
• Proven ability to grow revenue, lead diverse sales teams and manage key corporate accounts.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM, sales analytics and reporting tools such as Delphi, Salesforce and OneYield.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
