Corporate Counsel – Litigation

About the role

Dycom is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to lead litigation matters for the company and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the VP Deputy General Counsel, you will handle corporate disputes, coordinate with outside counsel, and support commercial legal activities in a fast‑growing public company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all litigation matters, including lawsuits, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Coordinate with outside counsel, oversee discovery, review filings, and develop litigation strategy.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements and demand letters.
• Handle disputes with subcontractors, landlords, vendors, and customers.
• Develop a litigation response plan for Dycom and its subsidiaries.
• Manage liens, factoring agreements, subpoenas, and bankruptcy‑related issues.
• Conduct litigation‑related due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, leases, NDAs, and professional services agreements.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school and member of the Florida Bar (or authorized in‑house counsel by the FL Bar).
• Minimum 3 years of corporate legal practice with in‑house experience.
• Extensive experience handling litigation, including lawsuits, arbitration, mediation, discovery, and settlement negotiations.
• Proven ability to review complex commercial contracts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
