Corporate Counsel – In‑House Attorney

About the role

RLC, a privately held diversified group, is seeking a well‑rounded attorney to join its in‑house legal team in Ocala, Florida. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, and focuses on commercial, corporate, and real‑estate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and corporate transactional documents.
• Handle commercial real‑estate transactions, zoning, land‑use, permitting, and development approvals.
• Provide litigation or litigation‑management support as needed.
• Advise business units on legal risks and communicate issues clearly to non‑lawyers.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active Florida Bar membership.
• Five to ten years of relevant legal experience, including corporate transactions and commercial contracts.
• Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
