Personal Injury Associate Attorney

About the role

Roach Law Car Accident Lawyers seeks a dedicated Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its remote team. The attorney will handle a variety of personal injury matters, including auto accidents, workers’ compensation, and wrongful death claims, providing client‑focused advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Interview clients and witnesses, review medical and employment records, and conduct legal research.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement demands, and other litigation documents.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel, and prepare cases for mediation and trial.
• Appear at remote hearings, depositions, and conferences as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and manage case files in collaboration with firm leadership.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active Missouri license (additional admissions a plus).
• Strong foundation in personal injury law, including liability, causation, and damages analysis.
• Experience or coursework in labor and employment law for work‑related injury issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organization, and attention to detail in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficient legal research using case law, statutes, regulations, and medical literature.
• Experience with case management software and secure remote work tools.
• Negotiation skills for handling insurance claims, settlement conferences, and mediations.
