Corporate Counsel II

About the role

AMN Healthcare is hiring a Corporate Counsel II in Dallas, Texas, who works with the Sales and Operations teams to draft, review and negotiate contracts that accurately reflect the business relationship and services provided, and to mitigate risk for the company. The role also advises internal departments on operations and compliance matters so the company follows relevant laws and regulations. The Dallas position is 3 days a week onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Understand each service line's business needs and objectives, run contract strategy meetings and get management input on timing and deliverables
• Engage internal stakeholders on contractual, legal, regulatory and operational issues
• Draft and review complex contractual provisions and negotiate legal terms aligned with business goals and company guidelines
• Keep company contract policies and contract templates and forms up to date and accessible to sales teams
• Act as primary advisor to internal clients, including sales divisions, on contract processes, policies and training, and develop and deliver training for internal stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor degree
• Admission to the Texas Bar or ability to receive foreign legal consultant registration in Texas
• 10-12 years of experience in a corporate setting or law firm drafting and negotiating commercial and technology contracts
• Experience with healthcare staffing, workforce solutions or HR-related contracts
• Preferred: experience supporting a public company environment
• Ability to use technology, automation and AI-enabled tools responsibly, and to work in an office or home office

Salary: $169,500 - $201,500, depending on experience, training, education and location.
