Corporate Compliance & Ethics Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

Forged Fiber, an open-access fiber network provider, is looking for a Corporate Compliance and Ethics Manager to lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of its compliance and ethics program. The role reports to the Head of Legal and Compliance and covers a multi-state footprint. It is a highly visible position for a senior compliance professional who works autonomously and supports the legal team and senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of the compliance program, including policy development, compliance monitoring, audit coordination and periodic reporting to senior leadership and the board.
• Manage the ethics program, including the code of business conduct, reporting mechanisms and the ethics hotline, and help conduct or support investigations into ethics complaints.
• Develop and deliver compliance training, track completion and keep records showing program effectiveness.
• Conduct third-party compliance diligence and support investigations as needed.
• Support the small legal team with document review, due diligence, compliance-related contract provisions and coordination with outside counsel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; CCEP, CHC or equivalent certification preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate compliance, regulatory compliance or a related field, including designing and managing compliance programs.
• Experience with compliance policies, training programs and monitoring and auditing frameworks.
• Experience in a multi-state environment, especially in infrastructure or telecommunications, is preferred.
• Familiarity with FCC regulations, state public utility commission requirements, OSHA requirements and/or environmental compliance is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ethics program administration, hotline management and investigations support.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

• Base salary range of $114,720 - $172,080 USD, with eligibility for an annual bonus.
