Corporate Controller – Strategic Finance Partner

About the role

We are partnering with a private‑equity backed manufacturing and supply‑chain company to find a highly strategic Corporate Controller. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as the primary finance partner, shaping financial strategy and driving operational effectiveness across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the close process, forecasting, budgeting, and board reporting.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, job costing, and landed‑cost analysis.
• Manage cash flow, working‑capital optimization, and banking relationships.
• Own the ERP system and develop KPI dashboards.
• Administer HR functions, payroll oversight, benefits coordination, and compliance.
• Partner with the CEO on pricing, margin improvement, and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, assembly, or product‑based industries.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting and inventory management.
• Experience with private‑equity backed businesses or sponsor‑level reporting preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP platforms such as Acumatica, NetSuite, or SAP Business One.
