Corporate Controller

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed professional services firm that needs an experienced Corporate Controller to lead its accounting function during a period of rapid expansion. This senior leadership role will own all accounting operations, financial reporting, acquisition accounting, and the development of scalable processes across a multi‑entity organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, consolidations, month‑end close and preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements.
• Manage accounting for a complex multi‑entity structure, develop internal controls, policies and oversee external audit, tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Direct acquisition accounting and integration activities, including purchase price allocations, goodwill and intangible asset accounting under ASC 805.
• Design and implement scalable integration playbooks and accounting frameworks to support an active acquisition strategy.
• Evaluate and improve accounting processes, identify automation opportunities and support ERP implementations and system enhancements.
• Oversee treasury functions, cash management, banking relationships, cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital optimization.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing accounting team, building structures that can scale with growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader in a multi‑entity, fast‑growing environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and acquisition accounting under ASC 805.
• Experience managing external audits, tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Track record of leading post‑acquisition integration and process‑improvement initiatives.
