About the role
The Coronary New Hire Sales Training Clinical Specialist has a strong background in training and education related to medical devices. This individual focuses on clinical and technical expertise rather than pure selling skills and will develop, implement, manage, and monitor training pathways and curricula that enable internal device teammates to achieve clinical and technical proficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales leadership and the Coronary (CV) marketing team to create engaging learning content aligned with strategic imperatives.
- Incorporate adult‑learning strategies to ensure training materials meet the needs of the target audience.
- Innovate educational approaches to shorten the learning curve for practical application of the CV portfolio.
- Support all programs with metrics, reporting on program effectiveness and proficiency.
- Develop, design, evolve, and execute training programs for internal customers, including new hires and sales representatives.
- Provide medical education support for commercial events and training villages across the CV education spectrum.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in the coronary device space with strong disease‑state knowledge, preferably in a medical‑device company.
- At least 1 year of formal adult‑learning training and curriculum creation experience.
- Minimum B.S. degree relevant to clinical or education fields.
- Coronary interventional expertise, ideally with IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) knowledge.
- Current experience working with coronary devices emphasizing clinical and technical expertise.
- Willingness to travel overnight approximately 35% of the time.

- Competitive salary range from $102,000 to $182,000 depending on location.
