Coordinator, Student Affairs Communication

About the role

The Communications Coordinator reports to the Director of Student Affairs Communications and supports marketing and communication across the LSU Student Affairs ecosystem. The role activates digital strategy, creates content, designs materials, maintains websites, and engages audiences for units lacking dedicated communication staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute print and digital communications to boost student engagement and elevate the division’s narrative.
• Create and manage content for Instagram, LinkedIn, campus signage, and key divisional events.
• Support units without embedded communication staff by providing content creation, website development, design, and marketing services.
• Assist the Director in shaping division‑wide communication efforts and ensure consistency across units.
