Coordinator, Minors Immigration & Diligence

About the role

Netflix’s US and Canada Minors, Immigration & Diligence (MInD) team is looking for a Coordinator to provide legal‑administrative support for productions worldwide. Based in Los Angeles, the role assists directors and counsel with child‑labor permits, visa applications and related filings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to directors and counsel for legal documents, child‑labor permit applications, visa and work‑permit filings (US, Canada, Australia and other jurisdictions).
• Create and maintain templates, trackers and knowledge‑base resources to improve workflow efficiency.
• Monitor case status and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of immigration and diligence matters.
• Maintain files tracking permit and visa expirations and communicate updates to cross‑functional partners.
• Conduct legal research on global immigration and child‑labor requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships, including outside counsel and external service providers, to facilitate timely filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in a studio, production company or legal environment, preferably focused on immigration, employment or entertainment law.
• Familiarity with immigration processes in the United States, Canada and/or Australia is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities, multitasking skills and sound judgment for independent decision‑making.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
