Controls Project Manager – Mechanical Construction

About the role

We are looking for a Controls Project Manager to lead mechanical construction controls projects for a family‑owned contractor serving Wisconsin. The role involves coordinating interdisciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring successful delivery of controls systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute controls projects from inception through completion.
• Collaborate with owners, construction crews, engineers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and execution strategies.
• Manage scope, quality, schedule and cost to achieve project goals.
• Integrate controls systems and components across multidisciplinary teams.
• Identify and resolve issues while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Support estimating and project development activities as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing controls projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Solid knowledge of controls systems and components.
• Strong project management, communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio.
• Familiarity with Niagara/Tridium platforms.
