About the role

WIPWip™ is looking for a hands‑on, high‑ownership Controller to build and own the company’s accounting foundation while supporting financial planning and business performance. You will partner closely with the SVP of Finance & Operations and play a critical role in transitioning finance functions from outsourced partners to an in‑house operation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function end‑to‑end, including monthly close, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes: invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and ensure audit readiness.
• Maintain cash visibility and support near‑term liquidity management.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing in a CPG environment.
• Lead the transition of external accounting partners to a fully in‑house operation.

Required profile

• Proven experience running an accounting function in a fast‑moving startup or high‑growth environment.
• Comfortable rolling up sleeves to execute day‑to‑day finance operations while building scalable processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on rigor, accuracy, and discipline.
• Ability to work independently and partner cross‑functionally with finance and operations leaders.
