Controller – Finance Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join a long‑standing, employee‑focused organization. The role will take over from the retiring incumbent in early 2027 and will be responsible for overseeing all core accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processes.
• Coordinate with banks on loan covenants and with the external CPA firm for the annual audit.
• Evaluate and enhance accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Lead the implementation of a budgeting process and assess staffing needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Audit experience in public accounting or extensive work with external CPA firms on technical audit matters.
• Strong month‑end close expertise.
• Proven ability to improve accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Experience in budget preparation and analysis.
