Controller – Finance Leadership

About the role

The Controller leads financial management and reporting for Seco Tools’ manufacturing operation in Reynoldsville, ensuring accurate results, effective controls, disciplined cost management, and clear financial insight for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes and oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, profitability, and trends; identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital optimization, financial risk assessment, and banking relationships.
• Manage financial ERP systems, data integration, reporting, costing, process improvement, and automation.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting, finance, and cost‑control teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in a supervisory or management finance role.
• Demonstrated leadership, team‑building, and strong critical‑thinking/problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and flexible thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with financial analysis tools.
• Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
