About the role
Our client, a private‑equity backed company operating in a capital‑intensive sector, is seeking a hands‑on Controller to join the team in Miami. The role is fully onsite and reports directly to the PE firm, providing a strategic partner for senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present financial reports to executives, highlighting performance and recommending improvement strategies.
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial data across the organization.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with leadership responsibilities.
- Experience in capital‑intensive industries is preferred.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
