Contract Event Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

Bisnow is seeking a contract Event Manager to support a high‑volume schedule of live events across the United States and Canada. The role is hybrid, based in New York City, and requires flexibility to travel to event sites and work both partial and full‑day days.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate on‑site logistics for DICE live events, including venue, AV, catering and party rentals.
• Order and set up name‑tags, signage, registration materials and ensure safe teardown after each event.
• Manage on‑site ticket requests and process charges through Bisnow’s Square account.
• Liaise with sponsors and clients to ensure their needs are met throughout the event lifecycle.
• Provide social‑media, video, photo and sponsor presentation support to internal marketing and sales teams.
• Research competitive conferences to help finalize dates and times for future events.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of live event coordination or management experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self‑discipline, organization and ambition.
• Positive, energetic attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑energy, sales‑driven environment.
• Dependable and flexible schedule to accommodate travel and variable event hours.
