About the role
Horizon Media is seeking an admitted attorney with 4+ years of relevant experience for a three-month Contract Counsel role supporting its in-house Legal team. The position covers a temporary staffing gap and offers an experienced practitioner a substantive in-house role under attorney supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate and finalize commercial agreements for the agency and its affiliates, including consulting, media, events/experiential, technology and data license, production and other commercial agreements.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, risk and business issues.
Required profile
- Admitted attorney with 4+ years of relevant experience (in-house or law firm).
- Detail-oriented, organized and reliable with confidential, time-sensitive processes.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, comfortable working independently on commercial contracts.
