Continuous Improvement Manager

About the role

Daniels Health is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead strategic and hands‑on initiatives that boost efficiency, cut costs, and optimize processes across its U.S. operations, including manufacturing plants and transfer stations. The role is remote‑based but requires regular travel to partner closely with regional and local operations leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and structured problem‑solving methods to eliminate waste and achieve measurable cost savings.
• Identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost performance across processing plants and transfer stations.
• Teach, lead and develop cross‑functional teams on loss‑elimination tools and methodologies.
• Coach site teams on Lean principles, root‑cause analysis (PDCA, DMAIC, 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) and sustain improvement initiatives.
• Support process design, automation projects and infrastructure optimization to increase throughput and reduce expenses.
• Partner with regional leadership to prioritize and execute initiatives aligned with national objectives.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to improve equipment performance, reduce downtime and enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Required profile

• Proven experience applying Lean, TPM and other continuous‑improvement methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to influence and engage individuals at all organizational levels, from frontline staff to senior leaders.
• Willingness to travel regularly to U.S. plants and transfer stations.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience in evidence‑based decision making.
