Continence Care Consumer Care Advisor

About the role

The Coloplast Consumer Advisor supports and educates end‑users, caregivers and clinicians on Coloplast continence care products and services. The position works Monday‑Friday, 9:30 am‑6:00 pm CST, providing timely assistance via phone, email and letters.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to clinician and consumer inquiries promptly, meeting established service metrics.
• Develop subject‑matter expertise to guide product application and resolve problems.
• Document end‑user program enrollment and ensure data quality in Coloplast systems.
• Educate clinicians on products in clinical settings and maintain key relationships.
• Communicate about intimate health issues in a mature, consultative manner.
• Stay current on industry developments and competitor offerings.
• Collaborate with field sales representatives and the consumer care team to ensure excellent service.
• Achieve monthly inbound and outbound call activity goals.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and 1‑6 years of healthcare customer service or sales experience.
• Call‑center experience preferred.
• Ability to explain medical processes clearly over the phone.
• Commitment to high ethical standards and compliance with relevant codes and policies.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Critical‑thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Attention to detail and structured documentation.
• Patience, empathy and effective telephone customer‑relations skills.
