Contact Center Associate 2 – Remote Patient Scheduling

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth is seeking a full‑time Contact Center Associate 2 to work remotely. The role focuses on delivering courteous, efficient service to patients, handling appointment scheduling, registration, and providing information about UHealth services.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and register patients across multiple physicians, specialties, and sites using the EPIC scheduling system.
• Verify patient registration information and coordinate pre‑registration with insurance verification teams.
• Provide general information about UHealth services to patients and community health providers.
• Identify and report trouble spots in care delivery and assist in problem resolution.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert, guiding peers and training new agents on scheduling and registration processes.
• Maintain direct communication with providers, medical staff, and satellite offices.

Required profile

• High level of proficiency with consistent quality and productivity.
• Experience in medical triage and understanding of government and commercial insurance requirements.
• Ability to train and mentor new hires.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
