Construction Superintendent – Public Works & Healthcare Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead public‑works and healthcare/hospital construction projects. The role involves overseeing daily site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project conformance with schedule, quality standards, and company SOPs.
• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, including OSHA safety compliance.
• Direct field personnel, provide leadership, and coordinate material sequencing and scheduling.
• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, architects, and internal teams to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare and maintain baseline schedules, site access plans, and staging sequences.
• Review budgets, determine field staff requirements, and contribute to cost‑effective solutions.
• Conduct weekly site visits, evaluate safety and workmanship, and report issues to the Project Manager.
• Support the Project Turnover meeting and provide input on scope reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience on public‑works or healthcare/hospital construction projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for interacting with clients, architects, and field teams.
• Ability to analyze schedules, budgets, and site conditions to drive timely project delivery.
• Commitment to uphold OSHA safety standards and company procedures.
