Construction Superintendent – Luxury Residential

About the role

Westside Build is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day site delivery for custom luxury residential rebuilds on Los Angeles' west side. You will ensure projects are built safely, to spec, and on schedule while coordinating closely with our design and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily huddles, manage look‑aheads, and coordinate with subcontractors and inspectors.
• Maintain site readiness, including layout control, access, temporary utilities, and housekeeping.
• Orchestrate deliveries, storage, and material protection to prevent damage.
• Verify installations against current drawings, models, specs, and approved changes; stop non‑conforming work immediately.
• Set inspection cadence, target first‑time passes, and coordinate work phasing to avoid trade conflicts.
• Enforce safety plans, run mock‑ups, and close punch lists.
• Keep Procore up to date with daily logs, RFIs, submittals, observations, redlines, and as‑builts.
• Track percent‑complete and productivity, flagging schedule or budget risks.
• Collaborate with the technology team on digital twin workflows and accurate as‑built information.

Required profile

• 10+ years as Superintendent or General Contractor on custom or high‑end residential projects.
• Strong subcontractor leadership, tight sequencing, and inspection coordination.
• Hands‑on quality and safety management with a record of zero serious incidents.
• Proficient plan/spec reading across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
