Construction Superintendent - Florida Travel

About the role

A well‑established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent who is willing to travel to project sites across Florida. The role offers the chance to lead diverse commercial construction projects, from ground‑up builds to renovations, while providing hands‑on field leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations from mobilization through project close‑out.
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, schedules, and site logistics.
• Enforce jobsite safety, quality control, and compliance with local codes.
• Maintain project schedules and resolve field issues efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and ownership to deliver successful projects.
• Travel to project sites as workload and project needs dictate.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent with a general contractor.
• Background in commercial construction (ground‑up, renovations, or both).
• Strong understanding of scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and site safety.
• Comfortable traveling for work, with travel support provided.
• Proactive, self‑motivated leader with strong communication skills.

What we offer

• Base salary $100,000 – $120,000 per year.
• Per diem $60 per day plus truck or allowance (travel only) and hotel.
