Construction Superintendent – Commercial Retail Projects

About the role
Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial retail projects across the United States. The role starts with projects in Las Cruces, NM and quickly expands to nationwide travel, overseeing all phases from groundbreaking to closeout.
Key responsibilities
- Direct onsite construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field crews.
- Develop and manage short‑term look‑ahead schedules aligned with the master schedule.
- Enforce company safety policies, OSHA compliance, and conduct daily safety meetings.
- Perform quality control inspections, coordinate testing, and ensure work meets plans and specifications.
- Manage subcontractor performance, resolve field issues, and maintain project documentation.
- Assist with RFIs, change orders, and field directives, and oversee punch‑list completion and final turnover.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of construction experience, including at least 4 years at foreman level within the past 10 years.
- At least 2 years of experience on commercial construction projects.
- Active Qualifying Party Certificate (NM CID) or successful NASCLA examination.
Required skills
- Qualifying Party Certificate (New Mexico) or NASCLA certification.
- OSHA safety compliance knowledge.
