Construction Site Supervisor – Commercial Interiors

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to lead daily field operations for commercial interior projects across New Jersey and New York City. The role ensures projects stay on schedule, meet quality and safety standards, and coordinate subcontractor activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain project timelines, track milestones, and provide regular status updates.
• Oversee daily on‑site construction activities, ensuring subcontractors work efficiently, safely, and within budget.
• Partner with Project Managers and client stakeholders to review progress, address concerns, and set priorities.
• Evaluate labor, material, and equipment needs and coordinate resources to support uninterrupted operations.
• Lead subcontractor execution for commercial interior build‑outs, confirming work aligns with plans and standards.
• Monitor site documentation and enforce compliance with company and project construction standards.
• Prepare progress reports and short‑term forecasts for leadership.
• Enforce jobsite safety practices and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in construction environments.
• Hands‑on background in commercial construction and active jobsite operations.
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and make sound field decisions.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail when reviewing work quality, schedules, and site conditions.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordination with teams, management, and clients.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lb as needed on the jobsite.
