Construction Services Manager – Austin, TX

About the role

The Construction Services Manager will lead rehabilitation, renovation and capital improvement projects for Greystar’s portfolio in the Austin region. Reporting to senior construction leadership, the role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards while maintaining strong communication with operations and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee on‑site Construction Service Specialists and Foremen to execute property rehabilitation, renovation and capital improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders, providing regular status updates and directing work activities.
• Conduct property inspections to verify safety compliance, diagnose issues and protect the physical integrity of assets.
• Identify project delays, develop alternative plans, resolve conflicts with contractors and follow up with internal departments to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in developing scopes of work, timelines and budgets for capital improvement and construction projects.
• Monitor worker productivity and compliance with building codes and company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction or renovation projects in a multi‑property environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise on‑site teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities across internal operations and external vendors.
• Problem‑solving mindset to address unforeseen issues and keep projects on schedule.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and building code compliance.
