Construction Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of renewable energy and infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support execution of renewable energy and construction projects from planning through completion.
• Monitor contractor and vendor productivity, schedule adherence, work quality and safety performance.
• Participate in field inspections, site walkdowns and project reviews to validate work execution and constructability.
• Ensure completed work meets design specifications, project requirements and quality standards.
• Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Review contractor invoices and payment applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate activities among engineering, construction, procurement, safety, environmental and operations teams.
• Identify, track and resolve project risks, issues and schedule impacts.
• Support scope management, contract administration and change management activities.
• Develop and analyze project performance metrics, financial data and operational reports.
• Interface with landowners, permitting agencies, local governments, regulatory organizations and community stakeholders.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular project status updates to leadership and project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Land Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience managing construction, infrastructure, utility, industrial or renewable energy projects.
• Proven experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors and vendors throughout project execution.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting and project controls.
• Experience evaluating project performance, productivity, quality and safety metrics.
• Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to analyze project data and provide recommendations to support project objectives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project management software.
