Construction Project Manager Associate

About the role

The Engineer/Architect Construction Project Manager Associate supports Ochsner Health’s Facilities Development initiatives, ensuring design and construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to company standards. This entry‑level position works closely with clinical and support divisions, providing coordination and documentation for small, non‑complex renovation and space‑planning projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and budgeting for small construction and renovation projects.
• Coordinate documentation of design and construction activities, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Maintain relationships with users, consultants, and contractors, acting as a liaison throughout project phases.
• Review design drawings and construction work regularly to verify alignment with specifications.
• Support multiple project teams from programming through construction and hand‑over.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Relevant work experience with an emphasis on project management.
• Preferred experience in electrical, mechanical, or structural engineering disciplines.
• Registered Architect license in Louisiana (if degree is in Architecture).
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Experience using Revit.
• Competence with Windows‑based applications and data‑entry tools.
