Construction Project Manager (5+ years experience)

About the role

CEG Solutions, a national ESCO, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead energy‑efficiency projects across federal, state, local, healthcare and education facilities. The role involves overseeing site operations, managing teams, and ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and budget requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with safety standards and contract documents.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, bid processes, subcontract negotiations, and budgets.
• Oversee on‑site safety, quality control, and technical due‑diligence, including risk identification and mitigation.
• Implement measurement‑based monitoring, verification, commissioning, and post‑implementation O&M protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent 15+ years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of construction project management or project engineering experience with building construction and energy systems (HVAC, controls, electrical, M&P).
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, work irregular hours, and relocate if needed.
• OSHA‑30 certification preferred.

Required skills

• Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
• Knowledge of energy‑conservation measures, HVAC, controls, electrical, and mechanical & plumbing systems.
• Experience with safety and quality control standards, risk management, and commissioning activities.
