Construction Materials Procurement & Supply Chain Lead

About the role

Reframe Systems is seeking a Construction Materials Procurement & Supply Chain Lead to own the flow of materials from design decision to installation across both the factory and field. This player‑coach role combines hands‑on execution with designing scalable procurement and inventory systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day procurement tasks (RFQs, purchase orders, expedites, supplier management) for residential projects.
• Develop and maintain a clear playbook for long‑lead items to prevent material‑driven schedule delays.
• Design and implement a procurement & inventory operating system, turning bill of materials and purchase logs into documented processes.
• Lead supplier strategy for structural lumber, windows, doors, cabinets, MEP equipment, and finishes, negotiating pricing and launching strategic relationships.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, factory and site operations, finance, and software teams to align material choices with cost, lead‑time, and risk.

Required profile

• 7–12+ years in supply chain, procurement, or inventory roles within construction, modular/off‑site construction, or related manufacturing.
• Experience both executing procurement tasks and designing/upgrading related processes and data structures.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one ERP/WMS implementation or major upgrade.
• Comfortable starting with scrappy tools (Sheets, QuickBooks, basic databases) and scaling them into robust systems.
