Construction Manager – Residential Projects

About the role

The Construction Manager leads the planning, coordination, and execution of residential home builds for Empire Homes in the Houston area. You will ensure each home meets quality, safety, and schedule standards while collaborating with trade partners, vendors, and homeowners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction of multiple homes from site preparation through closing, maintaining quality control and schedule adherence.
• Communicate daily with vendors, subcontractors, and trade partners to confirm timelines, validate work, and resolve issues.
• Enforce safety policies, maintain an organized work site, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Oversee project compliance with plans, specifications, industry standards, and building codes; handle material orders and inspections.
• Foster positive relationships with homeowners and handle customer service and warranty requests.
• Prepare and manage punch lists and warranty work orders to ensure satisfactory completion.

Required profile

• High school diploma; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of residential construction and customer service experience.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
