Construction Manager

About the role

Entrada Partners is seeking a Construction Manager to support capital improvement and tenant improvement projects across its Texas‑based portfolio. Based in Addison, TX, the role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects for tenant improvements, make‑readies, and capital upgrades.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, architects, and General Contractors on scope, budgets, bids, and value engineering.
• Manage permitting, inspections, and city approvals to ensure code compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Review contracts, change orders, and payment applications for accuracy.
• Support tenant‑led projects by vetting contractors and conducting site inspections.
• Assist acquisition due diligence by preparing budgets and identifying construction risks.
• Develop project schedules and reports, providing regular updates to Asset Management.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager for a General Contractor or Commercial Real Estate firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Experience managing commercial ground‑up construction or tenant improvement projects from conception to completion.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, permitting procedures, and building codes.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with construction management scheduling software (preferred).
